Steve’s Story

Over 40 years ago, Steve started his plumbing apprenticeship working for his brother’s plumbing company. His first 3 years were spent working in housing maintenance and construction, and having a fantastic time with his brother whilst doing so.

From here, Steve moved to Sydney, and continued working in construction and commercial maintenance for other businesses, before starting his very own business in the 1980’s, later moving into a civil construction role with Sydney Water for close to 20 years.

It was in this next 4 year period that Steve shifted his focus from tradesman to carer, becoming his brother’s main pillar of support during his battle with advanced Parkinson’s Disease. Looking after the very man who helped build his career in its earliest days made this a deeply significant and transforming time for Steve.

Since returning back to business, Steve now specialises in drain clearing and repair, and minor plumbing jobs.
